Remarks: Strong thunderstorms may develop this evening along a cold front as it moves south across the Maritimes. Localized heavy downpours and very strong wind gusts may accompany some of these thunderstorms.
Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
