Areas of fog and mist continue early this morning, resulting in widespread visibility of 1 to 2 miles or less across lowland portions of northwestern Oregon and southwestern Washington. Particularly fog-prone areas including sheltered Coast Range valleys, low spots within the Willamette Valley, and locations near rivers or other water sources are the most likely to experience visibility of 1/4 mile or less within dense fog. Drivers should slow down, use headlights, and leave plenty of following distance. Pedestrians and cyclists should use lights or reflective gear to improve visibility to drivers.
