Maximum temperatures in the low thirties to low forties with overnight minimum temperatures in the high teens to mid twenties. Severe heatwave conditions are expected to continue throughout Cape York Peninsula over the coming days. Severe heatwave conditions have eased over the Central Coast and Whitsundays district, however low intensity heatwave conditions may linger over the next few days. Locations likely to be impacted include Aurukun and Weipa.
