Maximum temperatures broadly in the low to high forties on Friday, moderating slightly to the mid thirties to mid forties on Saturday, then decreasing more significantly on Sunday. Overnight minimum temperatures in the high twenties to low thirties across the pastoral areas and in the mid teens to mid twenties otherwise. Severe to locally extreme heatwave conditions will persist over the next few days before easing by Sunday as a milder southwesterly flow extends across the state. Although the warning for Yorke Peninsula and Murraylands has been cancelled hot conditions will continue on Friday until a cool change moves through in the late afternoon and evening. Locations likely to be impacted include Clare, Hawker, Jamestown, Leigh Creek, Moomba, Marree, Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Renmark and Roxby Downs.
