Periods of HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING are expected over the weekend about the North East Pastoral district and adjacent parts of the North West Pastoral district. Six-hour rainfall totals between 20 and 50 mm are likely, with localised totals up to 75 mm possible with thunderstorm activity.

      Conditions should ease in western parts of the warning area from late Sunday evening, but heavy falls may continue about the northeast during Monday.

      Flash flooding may make roads impassable through northeastern parts of the state.

      Severe weather is no longer occurring in the Flinders district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.

      65 mm of rainfall was recorded at Mount Barry in the 24 hours to 9am on Saturday morning.
