ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 734 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall with rates in excess of an inch per hour will move across the advisory area through around 830 PM CDT. Rainfall amounts in excess of 2 inches are possible.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Hammond, Gary, Portage, Merrillville, Valparaiso, Schererville, Hobart, Crown Point, Highland, Munster, Chesterton, Cedar Lake, Griffith, Dyer, St. John, Lake Station, Lakes of the Four Seasons, South Haven, Porter and Winfield.
