Severe heatwave conditions are expected to persist over the next few days before easing later in the weekend or the start of next week as a slightly milder southerly flow extends over the south of the state. Severe heatwave conditions over the Darling Downs and Granite Belt, Central West and the Central Highlands and Coalfields has been cancelled however low intensity heatwave conditions are still expected through these areas for the next few days. Locations likely to be impacted include Birdsville, Bollon, Charleville, Cunnamulla, Quilpie, St George, Thargomindah and Windorah.
