Fire weather warning in effect for Monday
Elevated fire weather conditions will persist through Tuesday. Very dry air will settle over the region Monday with minimum relative humidity around 20 to 35%. In addition, winds will be from the north around 10 to 20 MPH with gusts up to 25 MPH.
The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Red Flag Warning for low humidity and gusty winds, which is in effect until 7 PM CST Monday for all of southeast Texas, southwest and central Louisiana.
