-

-
WHEN: Until 7 AM CDT Tuesday.
-
IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
-
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Monday afternoon and evening, portions of the Watch area will receive, or have already received 2-4 inches of rain in a short time, with some flooding already occurring. While much of the area will see at least a few, if not several hours of dry weather in the wake of the first round of storms, another round of thunderstorms could move across the area from west- to-east overnight, mainly between Midnight and sunrise Tuesday. This possible second round of storms could dump as much as 1-2 inches of rain in a short time, which could cause additional flooding issues, especially if additional heavy rain falls over places that already received at least 2 inches of rain from the first round of storms.
