Resmi uyarı açıklamaları:

FLOODING POSSIBLE IN PARTS OF NORTH-WESTERN AND CENTRAL QUEENSLAND FROM FRIDAY A monsoon trough in the north-west, and a trough that will move along the east coast over the next few days, will combine with deep moisture to produce widespread showers, rain, and thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls across western, central, and northern Queensland in the coming days. The location of the heaviest rainfall will depend on the location of the troughs. Catchments are gradually becoming wet following recent rainfall. River and creek level rises, overland flow, and isolated flooding in low-lying areas are possible across many inland parts of the Flood Watch area. Riverine flooding is possible from Friday with road closures and community isolation likely.

Talimatlar:
  • Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
  • Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
  • Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
  • Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
