- Bands of snow showers continue to move southwest to northeast across southeast Alaska through Tuesday morning, primarily for Juneau southward. These snow showers may be moderate to heavy at times, resulting in variable snow amounts across the region.

Snow showers continue across the panhandle with a chance for heavier showers to return to central and southern portions of SE AK Wednesday and Thursday. Confidence is higher with the timing of these heavier showers, but confidence remains low with snow totals. Snow amounts over 24 hours are most likely to remain around 2 to 4 inches with a low chance of snow around or above 6 to 8 inches. We will continue to monitor both the snow showers that are occurring now, and the ones expected for mid week. Showers then look to weaken at the end of the work week.
