meteoblue for iOS received a majour update: version 1.1.7 uses a new meteoblue data feed with even better forecasts. The forecast switching to the next day now takes place right at midnight (and no longer in the evenings - a response to many user enquiries). In addition, we now extended the detailed hourly forecast for the entire week to all places on Earth - an improvement especially for users in North America.
Our iOS Widget is now available since two years and very popular. Since the introduction, some of our users have requested that we extend the widget's scope of information with additional variables. This update adds more weather variables such as sunrise and sunset times and our unique predictability bar. In addition, the layout of the widget has been improved to comply with current iOS standards.
Last but not least, we have finally added two of our most popular features from our website: our Multi-Model and our dynamic Weather maps.
Other improvements include : reduced size of the current temperature view on iPhone. Users of larger iPhones should now see more days at a glance without having to scroll for it. Further, the app size was reduced by around 20% through clever code optimisation. This update should also fix the bug, that in a few cases, in-app purchases were not registered. Version 1.1.8 and 1.1.9. remove a few new bugs caused by the new features , and are now also available for download.
