IMPACTS: At 17.0 feet, Lowland flooding upstream and downstream from St. Joseph occurs. At 19.0 feet, Backwater from the Missouri River floods property along the Nodaway river at Nodaway, Missouri. At 21.0 feet, Riverfront Park in St. Joseph begins to flood.

- At 9:35 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.3 feet.
- Forecast: The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Thursday morning and continue rising to a crest of 20.2 feet Friday evening.
