The Meteorological Technology World Expo is the premier global meteorological technology event held annually in Vienna, Austria this year. meteoblue is one of the few exhibitors which participated since the first event in Brussels in 2010.
meteoblue presented the world's leading one-stop weather shop for precision weather at our distinctive Expo booth, inviting hundreds of visitors to experience easy access to our unique range of weather services with Swiss cookies and comprehensive information.
Our weather shop presented our unique offer in 6 dimensions:
- Stress balls in the shape of a globe to show the global availability of our weather data.
- Top precision of our weather data, experienced by aiming the stress balls at a narrow target, and documented on postcards summarizing the most essential validation results.
- T-Shirts showing the unique time range of our weather data ranging in hourly steps from 1940 to 2100 for our climate predictions.
- Our unique range of weather variables was expressed with branded folders showing more than 80 different weather variables.
- Our use-case-specific services were visualised on different postcards, each displaying a meme related to a particular use case.
- Easy access to our data through interactive screens, visualizing our high-resolution forecasts, as well as unique city maps for urban heat and wind patterns in 10x10 meter resolution, and through QR codes giving access to the information.
We thank all our visitors for their interest, our customer for expanding our cooperation, and our partners for their contributions, and already look forward to participating with a further enhanced product range at the next Expo in 2025.
