- At 1056 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected in the advisory area. Between 3/4 and 1 1/2 inches of rain are expected.
- Some locations that could experience flooding include, Newark, Jersey City, Jamaica, Paterson, Elizabeth, Flatbush, Flushing, Passaic, Bayonne, Wayne, Hoboken, Plainfield, Bloomfield, Hackensack, Linden, Orange, Bergenfield, Paramus, Ridgewood and Coney Island.
