  • WHERE: A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Ascension, Assumption, Iberville, Lafourche, Livingston and St. James.

  • WHEN: Until 100 AM CDT.

  • IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 1000 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
    • Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
    • Some locations that will experience flooding include, Gonzales, Donaldsonville, Napoleonville, St. Gabriel, Gramercy, Lutcher, White Castle, Sorrento, French Settlement, Belle Rose, Paincourtville, Geismar, Convent, Supreme, Carville, Labadieville, Chackbay, North Vacherie, South Vacherie and Wallace.
