In south central Virginia, Brunswick, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg and Prince George (including Hopewell and Petersburg). In southeast Virginia, Greensville, Hampton/Poquoson, Isle of Wight, James City, Newport News, Southampton, Surry, Sussex and York.

IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

- Showers and thunderstorms are expected to become more widespread overnight. An additional 1 to 3 inches of rain are possible with locally higher amounts. This is in addition to any rain that already fell, which was highest from east- central Virginia to the Virginia Eastern Shore. This will maintain a flood threat through the remainder of the night into the morning.
