  • Winds: Northerly wind 10 to 20 mph with gusts 20 to 35 mph. Strongest wind along the western half of the Sacramento Valley and coastal range.

  • Humidity: Minimum relative humidity of 5 to 15 percent today and Tuesday. Poor relative humidity recoveries in the 25 to 45 percent range, lowest along the western edge of the Sacramento Valley and coastal range.

  • Highest Threat: Northern and Central Sacramento Valley, especially west of the Interstate 5 corridor and elevations below 2000 feet.

  • Impacts: The combination of gusty wind and low humidity can cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
