The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 3:55 pm, a VERY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORM likely to produce giant hailstones, destructive winds and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding was detected. The thunderstorm is moving towards the northeast. The severe thunderstorm is forecast to affect the area west of Toowoomba by 4:25 pm and the area northwest of Toowoomba, Oakey and the area west of Oakey by 4:55 pm. They are forecast to affect Esk, northern Lake Wivenhoe and the area north of Crows Nest by 4:25 pm and Jandowae, the area south of Dalby, the area southeast of Dalby, Somerset Dam, Lake Somerset and Moore by 4:55 pm.
