The Thomson River at Longreach may exceed the minor flood level (3.30 m) from Saturday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive. No observations are currently available for the Thomson River at Stonehenge. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, it is estimated that the Thomson River at Stonehenge is below the minor flood level and rising. The Thomson River at Stonehenge is likely to exceed the minor flood level (2.00 m) Saturday morning. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive. At around 3 pm Friday, the Thomson River at Jundah was observed at 2.34 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Thomson River at Jundah may reach the minor flood level (2.50 m) from Saturday.
