IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

- Slow moving thunderstorms will develop over the Sangre De Cristo Mountains Sunday afternoon and spread slowly eastward to include the adjacent highlands. These storms will produce heavy rainfall. The heavy rainfall threat will persist into Sunday night and then increase again on Monday. Storm total rainfall amounts from Sunday afternoon through Monday will range from 1.0 to 1.5", but spotty higher totals up to 3.0" are possible. This type of rainfall will cause flash flooding on the Hermits Peak/Calf Canyon burn areas with the potential for dangerous debris flows.
