ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้จะมีฝนตกต่อเนื่องและมีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง ส่วนภาคกลาง กรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑลมีฝนตกหนักบางพื้นที่ ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านอ่าวไทย และภาคใต้ตอนล่าง ในขณะที่บริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นปกคลุมภาคเหนือตอนบน ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน และทะเลจีนใต้ ส่งผลให้มีลมฝ่ายตะวันออกพัดปกคลุมประเทศไทยตอนบน สำหรับทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองจะมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนระวังอันตรายจากฝนฟ้าคะนอง ฝนตกหนักและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม ชาวเรือควรตรวจสอบเส้นทางและเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง รวมทั้งหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองไว้ด้วย
The monsoon trough lies across the Gulf and the lower South while the high-pressure system from China covers the upper North, the upper Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea leading to the easterly wind prevails over Thailand and the Gulf. Continuous rain with isolated heavy to very heavy rain are forecat in the East and the South while isolated heavy rain in the Central including Bangkok and vicinity. In the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the waves will be higher than 2 meters high in thundershower areas.
People are advised to closely monitor weather forecasts and people in the affected areas should beware of gusty wind and heavy to very heavy rains and accumulated rainfall that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships should keep off thundershowers.
