ประเทศไทยมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้นและมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง โดยมีฝนตกหนักมากบางพื้นที่ในภาคเหนือด้านตะวันออก ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน และภาคตะวันออก เนื่องจากร่องมรสุมเลื่อนลงมาพาดผ่านภาคเหนือตอนบนและภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน เข้าสู่พายุดีเปรสชันบริเวณชายฝั่งประเทศจีนตอนใต้ ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังค่อนข้างแรงพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร อนึ่ง หย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำกำลังแรงบริเวณชายฝั่งประเทศจีนตอนใต้ ได้ทวีกำลังแรงขึ้นเป็นพายุดีเปรสชันแล้ว และมีแนวโน้มจะทวีกำลังแรงขึ้น คาดว่าจะเคลื่อนเข้าใกล้เกาะไต้หวัน ในช่วงวันที่ 2 – 3 กันยายน 2569 ขอให้ผู้ที่จะเดินทางไปบริเวณดังกล่าวตรวจสอบสภาพอากาศก่อนออกเดินทางด้วย โดยพายุนี้ไม่เคลื่อนเข้าสู่ประเทศไทย
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม ควรหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินทางผ่านเส้นทางที่มีปัญหาน้ำท่วมซ้ำซาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลุ่มต่ำซึ่งอาจเกิดน้ำท่วมขังในระยะสั้นได้ ขอให้ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง เรือเล็กบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนควรงดออกจากฝั่งในระยะนี้ไว้ด้วย
