Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and northerly winds are expected during Monday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the Lower South East forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with gusts to 100 km/h are likely about the West Coast, Eyre Peninsula and Yorke Peninsula today, extending to the remainder of the warning area, including Adelaide, during Monday evening.

      DAMAGING WINDS are expected to ease over coastal and low lying areas, including Adelaide, from early Tuesday morning, and then gradually ease over the Flinders Ranges and Mt Lofty Ranges during Tuesday afternoon and evening.

      Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Strathalbyn, Maitland, Whyalla, Mount Gambier, Ceduna and Port Augusta.  

      94 km/h wind gust was recorded at Cleve at 7:07 am.
      Sustained 68 km/h winds were recorded at Warburto Point (near Moonta) around 8:15 am.

      Locations which may be affected include Ceduna, Elliston, Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Port Wakefield, Adelaide Metro Beaches, Victor Harbor, Kingston SE, Robe, and Port MacDonnell.

Stay away from coastal areas until conditions subside. * Know your limitations around beaches, tidal rivers and creeks. Monitor warnings and conditions. Supervise children at all times. * If you have a moored boat or watercraft, check that your mooring and lines are secure. * Be aware that unusually high tides could cause flooding at the coast. * You should never walk, ride or drive through floodwater.
