Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "HENRY" was estimated based on all available data at 70 km West Southwest of Abucay, Bataan (14.4°N, 119.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 55 km/h. It is moving Northwestward at 25 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting the western sections of Visayas and Mindanao. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is light to moderate rains. WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED : + **Quezon** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Upper Umiray, Lower Bolbok (Lawaya), Malaking-Ilog, Iyam, Macalelon, Catanauan, Silongin Lagda, Pagsanjan, Yabahaan, Bigol, Guinhalinan, Vinas, Calauag, Pandanan, Sta. Lucia, Lugan Malaybalay, Maapon, Bucal (Lalangan), Lakayat, Tignoan, Agos, Anibawan (Polilio Island) and Upper Kilbay - Catabangan. + **Laguna** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Pagsanjan, Pila-Sta. Cruz, San Juan and San Cristobal. + **Rizal** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Upper Marikina and Kaliwa. + **Cavite** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Laboc (Balsahan), Cañas, Ylang-Ylang, Imus, and Maragondon. + **Batangas** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Lian, Banabang-Molino, Pansipit, Kapumpong, Rosario-Lobo and Upper Bolbok (Lawaya).

People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned still advised to be alert for possible flashfloods.

Strength : Maximum winds of 45 kph near the centerand gustiness of up to 55 kph. Forecast movement : Forecast to move Westward at 25 kph Forecast position : Jul 01, 2026 08:00 PM - 440 km West of Iba, Zambales Jul 02, 2026 08:00 AM - 670 km West of Dagupan City, Pangasinan (OUTSIDE PAR) Jul 02, 2026 08:00 PM - 875 km West of Northern Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) Jul 03, 2026 08:00 AM - 1,035 km West of Northern Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) Jul 03, 2026 08:00 PM - 1,130 km West of Northern Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND AREAS Severe Winds The wind signals warn the public of the general wind threat over an area due to the tropical cyclone. Local winds may be slightly stronger/enhanced in coastal and upland/mountainous areas exposed to winds. Winds are less strong in areas sheltered from the prevailing wind direction. Minimal to minor impacts from strong winds are possible within any of the areas under Wind Signal No. 1. The periphery of HENRY and the Southwest Monsoon will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds): Today: Batanes, Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA. Tomorrow (02 July): Batanes, Cagayan, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, and Palawan. Friday (03 July): Batanes, Cagayan, Pangasinan, Zambales, and Palawan. HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook Up to moderate seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 2.5 m: The seaboards of Babuyan Islands and Zambales; the northern seaboards of Cagayan and Ilocos Norte; the western seaboards of Pangasinan, Bataan, and Kalayaan Islands. Up to 2.0 m: The seaboards of Batanes, Isabela, northern Aurora, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and Lubang Islands; the western seaboard of Bataan, Batangas, and Palawan; the remaining seaboards of Ilocos Norte and Kalayaan Islands. Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions. Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m. TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the forecast confidence cone. Refer to “Other Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone. HENRY is forecast to move generally west northwestward while moving away from the Philippine landmass. It may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this evening or tomorrow early morning (02 July). HENRY will gradually intensify while traversing the West Philippine Sea and may reach tropical storm category by tomorrow evening. Afterwards, it is forecast to remain as a tropical storm throughout the remainder of the forecast period.
