An Air Quality Alert has been issued for Walla Walla County until further notice due to current and expected wildfire smoke from regional fires. Extremely critical fire weather Saturday will produce significant smoke from ongoing and emerging fires in Washington and Oregon. Particulate Matter (PM2.5) may reach Unhealthy levels throughout the weekend. When air quality is Unhealthy, everyone should reduce exposure. Limit time outside, avoid strenuous outdoor activity, and follow tips for cleaner indoor air.
