ภาคใต้มีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง ส่วนประเทศไทยตอนบนมีฝนลดลง แต่ยังคงมีฝนฟ้าคะนองบางพื้นที่ส่วนมากบริเวณด้านตะวันตกของภาคเหนือและภาคกลาง และตอนล่างของภาคตะวันออก ขอให้ประชาชนบริเวณภาคใต้ระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนัก และฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลุ่มต่ำซึ่งอาจเกิดน้ำท่วมขังได้ ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นปกคลุมประเทศไทยตอนบน ในขณะที่มีลมฝ่ายตะวันออกพัดปกคลุม อ่าวไทย และภาคใต้ สำหรับทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองจะมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร ชาวเรือควรตรวจสอบเส้นทางและเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง รวมทั้งหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองไว้ด้วย อนึ่ง ในช่วงวันที่ 9-13 ต.ค. 69 ภาคตะวันออก ภาคกลาง รวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล และภาคใต้ จะมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้น โดยมีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมาก บางแห่ง เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นอีกระลอกหนึ่งจากประเทศจีนจะแผ่เสริมลงมาปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือและทะเลจีนใต้ ส่งผลทำให้ร่องมรสุมเลื่อนลงมาพาดผ่านภาคตะวันออกและภาคใต้ตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย
