IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

- Deep subtropical moisture will continue its northward progression across portions of northern and central Nevada today. This anomalously moist atmosphere will allow for the development of showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms will be capable of producing rainfall rates of an inch of rainfall per hour or more, leading to flash flooding.
