พยากรณ์อากาศ 24 ชั่วโมงข้างหน้า มรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทยมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง ประกอบกับร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านภาคเหนือ และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน เข้าสู่หย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำบริเวณประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน ลักษณะเช่นนี้ทำให้ประเทศไทยมีฝนตกหนักหลายพื้นที่ โดยมีฝนตกหนักมากบางแห่งในภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนและอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง โดยทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม รวมทั้งเพิ่มความระมัดระวังในการสัญจรผ่านบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองไว้ด้วย ขอให้ชาวเรือเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวังและหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง สำหรับเรือเล็กบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนควรงดจากฝั่ง
