IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, dry washes, slot canyons, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations such as slickrock areas and recent burn scars including Cottonwood, Widemouth 2, France Canyon, Monroe Canyon, Forsyth, and Silver King.

- Deep moisture originating from tropical systems in the Eastern Pacific draws into portions of central and southern Utah on Monday. Concurrently, an upper-level system traversing the Desert Southwest will result in ample instability that will produce widespread heavy rainfall across the area. Isolated heavier storms will be capable of producing rainfall rates in excess of 1 inch per hour at times.
