IMPACTS: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 1144 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages, Camp Creek, Glade Branch, Crane Creek, Little Bluestone River, Jumping Branch, Laurel Fork, Flipping Creek, Big Branch, Bluestone River and Clark Branch.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Hinton, Matoaka, Camp Creek, Pocahontas, Bramwell, Camp Creek State Park and Flat Top.

IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

- Slow moving storm system is resulting in potential for persistent showers and thunderstorms,the storms containing high rainfall rates. This storm system has had a past history of producing localized rainfall amounts in excess of 5 inches in a span of less than 3 hours. If this were to occur, flash flooding would become likely.
