Remarks: A cold front moving across the province is bringing the threat of severe thunderstorms into this evening. Severe thunderstorms have developed in western New Brunswick and are forecast to move east into central and eastern New Brunswick as the evening progresses. The main threats with these storms will be locally heavy downpours, very strong wind gusts, and pea sized hail.
Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
