Widespread river flooding continues on the heels of multiple rounds of rainfall over the past few weeks, with some areas receiving double or even triple the normal amount of rainfall for the entire month of June over the past 10 days. Cresting is occurring at many smaller rivers with cresting on the mainstem Minnesota and Mississippi arriving later this week as water works its way downstream.

IMPACTS: At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along the river.
