Flooding of low lying land and roads remains possible over the following days. The forecast for this week remains unsettled, with the potential for heavy showers at times. River levels are expected to remain high over the coming days and will be sensitive to further rainfall. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
