  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Hot temperatures expected across the Albuquerque Metro through mid this evening. The hottest temperatures up to 103 degrees will be at locations along the Rio Grande Valley. A strong backdoor front will push through Tijeras Canyon around sunset this evening resulting in strong east canyon winds across eastern Albuquerque. This will result in difficult crosswinds on north to south oriented roads and highways, including Tramway Boulevard and Interstate 25.
