AFFECTED AREA: In Oregon, Fire Weather zones 620, 621, 622, and 623, including Medford, Grants Pass, Ashland, Cave Junction, Eagle Point, Shady Cove, and the Siskiyous and southern Oregon Cascades.

WIND: Northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph in the afternoons, becoming east to northeast overnight.

HUMIDITY: Minimum humidity 8 to 15 percent, with poor recoveries as low as 20 percent.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
