- At 636 PM CDT, Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen today. Runoff from this rainfall has caused area creeks and streams to rise. Recently State Route W has been closed due to flooding. Additional roads will likely become closed within the warned area due to high water.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Excelsior Springs, Cameron, Chillicothe, Trenton, Richmond, Brookfield, Carrollton, Lawson, Milan, Hamilton, Gallatin, Maysville, King City, Braymer, Stewartsville, Norborne, Green City, Polo, Hardin and Jamesport.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
