บริเวณภาคเหนือ ภาคกลาง รวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล และภาคตะวันออก ยังคงมีสภาพอากาศแปรปรวน โดยมีลักษณะของฝนฟ้าคะนอง ลมกระโชกแรง กับมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง โดยภาคเหนือมีลูกเห็บตกรวมถึงอาจมีฟ้าผ่าเกิดขึ้นได้บางพื้นที่ ส่วนภาคใต้มีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง สำหรับภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือจะมีฝนลดลง ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนได้แผ่ลงมาปกคลุมภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภาคกลางตอนบน และทะเลจีนใต้แล้ว ประกอบกับลมตะวันออกและลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดนำความชื้นจากทะเลจีนใต้และอ่าวไทยเข้ามาปกคลุมประเทศไทยตอนบน ในขณะที่มรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน และประเทศไทย สำหรับทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองจะมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนระวังอันตรายจากฝนฟ้าคะนอง ลมกระโชกแรง ฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลุ่มต่ำซึ่งอาจเกิดน้ำท่วมขังได้ รวมทั้งควรหลีกเลี่ยงการอยู่ในที่โล่งแจ้ง ใต้ต้นไม้ใหญ่ และป้ายโฆษณาที่ไม่แข็งแรง ชาวเรือควรตรวจสอบเส้นทางและเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง รวมทั้งหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง อนึ่ง ในช่วงวันที่ 9-13 ต.ค. 69 ภาคตะวันออก ภาคกลาง รวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล และภาคใต้ จะมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้น โดยมีฝนตกหนัก ถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนอีกระลอกหนึ่งจะแผ่เสริมลงมาปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือและทะเลจีนใต้ ส่งผลทำให้ร่องมรสุมเลื่อนลงมาพาดผ่านภาคตะวันออกและภาคใต้ตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย ในระยะนี้ขอให้ประชาชนติดตามข่าวพยากรณ์อากาศอย่างใกล้ชิด และเฝ้าระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลากได้
