ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Light to moderate winds coupled with ambient air temperatures as low as 50 below zero will allow for dangerously cold conditions to impact the North Slope and Brooks Range through midweek. Increasing winds Tuesday into Wednesday will increase the threat of extreme cold early Wednesday ahead of slowly rising ambient temperatures.
