  • WHAT: Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

  • WHERE: Grand River near Chillicothe.

  • WHEN: Until Monday evening.

  • IMPACTS: At 28.0 feet, Rural roads are under water. At 35.0 feet, U.S. Highway 65 south of Chillicothe is threatened by flood water.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 6:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 29.8 feet.
    • Forecast: The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.0 feet Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday evening.
    • Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
