ประเทศไทยมีฝนฟ้าคะนองบางพื้นที่ โดยมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่งบริเวณภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังค่อนข้างแรงพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย ในขณะที่ร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านประเทศเมียนมา และประเทศลาวตอนบน เข้าสู่หย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำบริเวณประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนัก และฝนที่ตกสะสม ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง เรือเล็กบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนควรงดออกจากฝั่งในระยะนี้ไว้ด้วย
The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the monsoon trough lies across Myanmar and upper Laos into the low pressure cell over upper Vietnam. Thundershower are forecast in the country while isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, and the East. The rather strong winds force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to be 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, the waves are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
