The National Weather Service in Pocatello ID has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Idaho

Teton River near Driggs affecting Teton County.

  • Warm temperatures will melt high mountain snowpack and increase river flows.

  • WHAT: Minor flooding is forecast.

  • WHERE: Teton River near Driggs.

  • WHEN: From this morning until further notice.

  • IMPACTS: At 4.2 feet, Lowland flooding occurs along the river in the Teton River bottoms from Bates Bridge Sportsman's access down-river to Idaho Highway 33 and further down-river to 1000 North. Some river access boat ramps will be under water. Water may cover a portion of 600 South or North Cedron Road.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 11:00 AM MDT Friday the stage was 4.1 feet.
    • Forecast: The river will rise above flood stage tonight and reach 4.5 feet early Monday afternoon, remaining elevated through much of next week.
    • Flood stage is 4.2 feet.
    • Flood History: This crest compares to a previous crest of 4.4 feet on 06/18/1964.
