Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.

- Multiple rounds of locally heavy rainfall are expected to continue through Tuesday evening in addition to rainfall that has fallen the past couple of days. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected with locally higher amounts of 4 to 6 inches, which may cause flash flooding especially in urban and other poor drainage areas.
