- Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop near the southeast Oregon over the southern Grasslands and southern Idaho south of the Snake Basin to the Nevada border this afternoon. Expect gusty and erratic winds up to 50 mph in the vicinity of these thunderstorms. Similiar conditions expected over the Idaho zones 423 and 426 on Wednesday.
The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Red Flag Warning for lightning, which is in effect from 1 PM to 8 PM MDT Wednesday.
