- A strong weather system approaching the area will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms today and widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms on Thursday. Moderate to locally heavy rainfall both days with Thursday having the higher potential for localized rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour.
