- In the last 10 days, most of southeastern Michigan has seen 1.5 to 4.5 inches of rainfall which has saturated soils before the main spring green up. Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are likely starting this evening and continuing through Thursday evening. Over this span of time, an additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall are expected with 3 to 4 inches possible in some areas dependent on thunderstorm coverage and tracks.
