IMPACTS: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings could be inundated with water and may not be passable.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 500 AM CDT, emergency management reported 4.37 inches of rain in Oakley. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen in the warned area.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Colby, Oakley, Grinnell, Levant, Rexford, Winona, Monument, Gem, Menlo, Russell Springs, Mingo, Halford, Angelus and The Monument Rocks.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

- An additional 0.25-3.00" of rain are forecast through Thursday afternoon. The heavier amounts will favor those closer to Central Kansas while the lower amounts will favor those near the Tri-State border. There may be a few pockets of 4-6" rainfall totals generally along and south I-70.
