ประเทศไทยมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้น และมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่งบริเวณภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทยมีกำลังแรงขึ้น สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบน ตั้งแต่จังหวัดภูเก็ตขึ้นมามีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 2 - 3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่าง ตั้งแต่จังหวัดกระบี่ลงไป มีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร และอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีคลื่นสูง 1-2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนบริเวณประเทศไทยเตรียมพร้อมระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่เสี่ยงใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่มไว้ด้วย ขอให้ชาวเรือเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวังและหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง ส่วนเรือเล็กบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนควรงดออกจากฝั่งในระยะนี้ไว้ด้วย
The moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening. More rains are forecast in the country and isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, the East and the South regions. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea from Phuket northward up to be 2–3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea from Krabi downward, the waves are expected about 2 meters high, 1-2 meters high in the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
People in Thailand should beware of heavy rains and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.
