Frosts with temperatures down to -1 degrees are forecast for Friday morning in parts of the Northern Country, North Central, North East, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts.
Reduced visibility in fog will make road conditions dangerous during Thursday and Friday in the Inner, Eastern and South Eastern suburbs and Dandenong Ranges.
Transport Victoria advises drivers to: Slow down and drive carefully. Leave more space between you and the vehicle in front. It takes longer to stop on wet, slippery roads. Turn on your headlights and watch for pedestrians, cyclists and motorbike riders, who can be harder to see. Before driving, check the VicTraffic website for the latest information on road closures. If you see a hazard on the road network, call Transport Victoria's Transport Operations Centre on 13 11 70, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
