Instructies:

Hydration is a critical piece to surviving the heat. Drink water, and if possible, take water to those who are vulnerable. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to the early morning or evening. Take action when you experience symptoms of heat exhaustion and/or heat stroke. Beat the heat and check the backseat! Do not leave young children or pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS: At the San Francisco tidal gauge, high tide is expected to be 1.0 ft above normal (6.78 ft MLLW) at 10:51 AM Thursday 10/8, 1.0 ft above normal (6.86 ft MLLW) at 11:22 AM Friday 10/9, 1.2 ft above normal (7.06 ft MLLW) at 11:50 AM Saturday 10/10, 1.2 ft above normal (7.08 ft MLLW) at 12:18 PM Sunday 10/11, 1.2 ft above normal (7.03 ft MLLW) at 12:46 PM Monday 10/12, 1.1 ft above normal (6.90 ft MLLW) at 1:14 PM Tuesday 10/13, and 0.9 ft above normal (6.72 ft MLLW) at 1:46 PM Wednesday 10/14. These predictions include up to 0.9 ft of surge that will enhance the astronomical tide and flooding threat.
